Freda & David couldn't be lovelier. So helpful & feel like our friends. Scones with cream & jam with pot of tea on our arrival was superb. Lovely room and lovely big bathroom with bath & shower. Whole place very clean. Breakfast is amazing. So much choice. Can't wait to stay again.

Just had an amazing four night stay. Nothing is too much trouble for David & Freda. Tea with jam & cream scones as soon as we arrived. Brilliant breakfast with lots of choices. A nice sweet treat left in the room for your return. Listening to their ‘local knowledge’ we left the car parked up and had a fantastic scenic bus ride across the North Yorkshire moors, changed buses in Middlesbrough and came back down the coast. We can’t recommend Rosewood highly enough. We are planning a return visit!!! D&J

Freda and David were exceptionally welcoming with tea and scones upon arrival. The room is clean, spacious enough for a quick break and en suite bathrooms are a nice touch. The selection of food for breakfast is enormous, from fruit, cereals to a full English, you even get cakes or treats in your room in the evening. A quiet little B+B with hosts who put the guests first, well worth the money!

Just like visiting old friends, Dave and Freda always make us so welcome. Rooms are spacious and spotless. Breakfast is second to none, from the full English to the local kippers and Freda's compotes and infused fruits everything is so good. Wouldn't entertain staying anywhere else in Whitby.
