What visitors say
Went for my first Warriors game and the vibes were lovely. The players played like they cared, the level of play was surprisingly high coming from an NHL snob background, and the fans and staff were all very welcoming. Decent prices including concessions, can't recommend it enough.

Went down for ice hockey game with the family (caps fan) nice place got talking to a few of the other teams fans sat amongst everyone which you not be able to do at football! Great atmosphere throughout good choice of food from cafe plenty seats. Would definitely like to go back

If I could give a zero I would. I never write reviews but just had to after visiting here. Went to the 7–9 Saturday slot, first time visiting. I was disgusted with the state around the rink: chips, biscuits and god knows what else all over the floor. Around the rink the flooring is all uneven and ripped up, not ideal if you’re wearing skates or struggle with mobility. If that’s not bad enough, the rink is leaking. It appears as if they’ve stuffed some kind of paper roll all crumpled up around the bottom edge of the barriers around the rink. This makes the surrounding area wet, slippy and just overall not pleasant, especially when the water has mixed with all of the food on the floor. Getting to the ice, I have never seen ice in such a poor condition. The entrance to the actual rink was more like a puddle. Around the sides it was less of an ice rink and more of a lake. This is without even mentioning the colour of some of the ice. When I went to put my skate guards on, the ice I got off my blade was brown. You could see this around the rink, not very pleasant either. Even more, the rink was full of large divots, which is quite scary for new skaters and could be dangerous. Finally, there were teens playing games of skating full-speed into each other, picking each other up and play fighting on the ice. No staff around to prevent this, and again it makes the rink more dangerous. Spent around 10 minutes on the rink (trying to get my £10 worth) and left. Absolutely abysmal.

Friendly staff and a good atmosphere. I used to go here as a kid and not much has changed in over 40 years except the 10 pin bowling upstairs was closed off years ago and the cafe moved to the lower level now. I got a new pair of hockey skates for about £320 and got them sharpened here or should I say half sharpened as one blade is still completely blunt on one side. Very disappointed to be honest as this is my 1st pair of personal skates and I thought I'd get a professional sharpening done. However when I went back and let them know my blades where dull on one side they apologised and resharpend them again for free so hats off to them for service. This place must cost a absolute fortune to run as there is no where else to ice skate in the north of England that I know.
