What visitors say
first time visiting this cinema this evening. we paid £14.50 per ticket which i thought was pretty pricey for a wednesday showing! i liked that you could order food and drink via a kiosk machine. the staff we interacted with were very friendly. our seats in screen 3 were ripped and head rests not the most comfortable, but they did recline which was nice. not the busiest either which i enjoyed. great amenities nearby with a few restaurants and places to drink, we had a meal before our film started.

My first cinematic experience was here (Sinners, 2025). I bought a ticket and reserved a seat in advance using the Odeon app. Tickets cost from £10-20 for new movies. You get the option to select your preferred seat depending on availability. On the app, there is an option to purchase a monthly viewing subscription at a lower price. You also accrue points by buying tickets (10% off tickets and refreshments). For attendance, you walk in on time and wait to be scanned in by the staff. The seats are really comfy (recliners), and the sound quality is good. The temperature in the cinema can rise and fall dramatically. In my experience, it gets chilly for adrenaline-pumping dramas (Sinners, Fantastic 4, Iron Lung, The Long Walk) and becomes warm for romantic dramas (The Drama, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, etc.). For refreshments, I can't help in that department. I don't indulge. It's probably good. Never heard someone complain about it. It would be nice if they were halal. Wouldn't it? The toilet condition is in a delicate balance between not clean and not dirty (men). You can go number 1 without touching any surface. Yikes! If it is number 2. Personally, the option to book in advance, the Odeon app, the ticket price slash, and the 15-minute waiting period from the actual time (latecoming) are the major reasons I choose to watch movies here. Plus, I can bring in chocolates. Hahaha!

Odeon Luxe in Freemans Park is in a great spot with a Nandos and a pub on the same site, which makes it easy to plan a full trip out. There is plenty of parking and it is free as long as you validate your car before leaving. The cinema itself is a good size with lots of screens along with a Costa, a bar and a food counter. Prices are what you usually see in cinemas, for example a standard hotdog is seven pounds. There is also a Tango Ice Blast machine and self service ticket machines which speed things up. The main downside was how cold it was inside. It was already cold outside and even with coats and scarves we needed blankets during the film. The lack of heating made the experience uncomfortable at times. The seats do have swivel desks which are really useful for food and drinks and they have large cupholders which help avoid spills. Overall the facilities are good and the location is excellent, but the temperature issue really let the visit down.

Very comfy seats , reclining with a little swivel table !! Should have taken a hoodie or a blanket coz its sooo cold in there. Counters need to be sign posted which side is to order because there was so many people waiting in the wrong que. And the floor in the front lobby was so dirty.
