Bayview Cottage

Chilton Foliat sits in the North Wessex Downs, an area crossed by ancient footpaths and bridleways that start from the cottage itself. The village pub is a mile away on foot. Further afield, Savernake Forest is reachable for longer walks, while Marlborough and Hungerford—both market towns with period charm—lie within driving distance. Highclere Castle, known from Downton Abbey, is also nearby for those interested in stately homes.

Bayview Cottage is a converted stable with two bedrooms—a double and a twin—and one bathroom plus a downstairs WC. The ground floor has a kitchen suitable for cooking proper meals, and an open-plan living and dining space with a fireplace. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included. The property is yours alone for the duration of your stay, and one dog is welcome.

The cottage suits couples, small families or friends wanting a rural base without fuss. There are no smoking restrictions beyond the house itself. Check-in is after 4pm and checkout before 10am.
