Pond Cottage

Pond Cottage is fully equipped for self-catering. The ground-floor layout has an open-plan living space with Freeview TV and DVD player, a dining area, and a kitchen fitted with electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and washer-dryer. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. Three bedrooms sleep six: one with a zip-and-link super king (splittable into two singles), one with two single beds, and one with a double. Two bedrooms have en-suite showers; the third has access to a separate toilet. A conservatory opens to an enclosed garden with furniture and barbecue.

The cottage sits on Whitebridge Farm, a 10-acre site near the Dorset-Wiltshire border with eight other cottages grouped around a shared courtyard. There is on-site parking, and a children's play area serves the whole complex. A field adjacent to the property suits dog walking. One dog is welcome. The setting is rural but well-connected to walking and cycling routes, including the South Wiltshire and Dorset cycle ways, and waymarked trails near Shaftesbury. Historic attractions include Stourhead, Stonehenge and Avebury; Salisbury, Bath and Weymouth are within an hour's drive. The property is non-smoking.
