Brickyard Farm Camping offers a wonderfully low-key escape in a sheltered meadow just outside Shaftesbury. This genuinely tiny site – think single-figure pitch count – has a proper wild camping feel, with firepits available to hire and logs on sale for proper campfire evenings under Dorset skies. The level grass pitches sit tucked behind hedges and mature trees, and there's space for commercial vehicles if you're touring in something larger.
