Smallbrook cottage

Salisbury's location puts you within reach of the New Forest's walking trails, and there are countryside restaurants nearby for evenings out. Smallbrook cottage sits in that quieter landscape, a four-bedroom thatched property with the solid comfort of exposed beams, an oak-framed conservatory and a wood-burning stove. The whole place is yours alone—eight guests can spread across the bedrooms, with three bathrooms to match.

Ground floor has a living room centred on the stove, a study, and that conservatory looking onto the garden. The kitchen handles full cooking. Upstairs are three further bedrooms—one with a double shower room, the other two with ensuites. All beds can split into singles if needed. You get parking for six cars on site, a garden with seating and a barbecue, and the essentials covered: heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi. One pet is welcome. No smoking indoors.

The cottage works for families and groups wanting countryside access without the isolation—you're close enough to walk to decent meals out, and the New Forest is a short drive. Check-in is after 4pm, checkout before 10am.
