What diners say
I visited Megan’s in Wimbledon for breakfast after hearing good things about it, but unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. We ordered three small breakfast dishes and paid almost £50, which felt extremely overpriced for what we received. One dish was simply avocado on toast with two eggs. The presentation was very basic and lacked care. I ended up eating only the avocado and eggs, leaving the bread. Another dish consisted of pancakes, and the third was a poached egg dish with yoghurt and bread. We also had to wait around 30 minutes for our food despite the dishes being very simple. What made the experience even worse was the noise. We were seated close to the service area, where a member of staff was drying and stacking cutlery. The constant loud clattering of knives, forks and spoons being thrown into containers was incredibly disruptive. It was so noisy that it genuinely gave me a headache and made it difficult to enjoy a conversation or relax. The restaurant was very busy, and the ventilation around our table did not seem particularly good either, especially being close to the kitchen area. I had hoped to try something inspired by Turkish breakfast from the menu, but the selection felt confused rather than authentic, with random combinations that did not work for me. Overall, the food did not meet expectations, the atmosphere was uncomfortable, and the value for money was poor. I would not return and would not recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing breakfast experience or a place where they can comfortably enjoy a conversation over a meal.

Great Mediterranean spot with bright, authentic flavours. The hummus, falafel, chicken and grilled veggies were standout. Our waitress was genuinely helpful with our dietary needs, suggesting safe, delicious options and clearly communicating what could be dairy-free or gluten-free. The cozy vibe and welcoming service make this a reliable choice for flavorful, thoughtful dining. If you go, try the recommendations and enjoy the friendly atmosphere.

The culinary offerings were exceptional, and the service was professional and courteous. However, it would be even better if the speed of service could be improved, as there was a noticeable wait for the main dishes. The restaurant's ambiance is both aesthetically pleasing and generously proportioned, with the lamps being a particularly noteworthy decoration.
