The Stables

The Stables is a converted barn arranged entirely on the ground floor—a practical layout where the living spaces, kitchen and three bedrooms flow into one another without stairs. You arrive into an open-plan area combining living and dining, with a Smart TV for evenings in. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking: electric oven and hob, dishwasher, and a washer-dryer for longer stays. The main bedroom has a kingsize bed and its own ensuite shower; the other two bedrooms each have zip-and-link beds that can be configured as kingsize or split into singles. A family bathroom with bath and shower serves the second and third bedrooms. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and electricity are all included.

The property sits in Beauworth hamlet, between Cheriton and Alresford, within reach of Winchester. Outside is a small enclosed garden with a barbecue. On-site parking is available. The area suits walkers and cyclists: the Itchen Way passes nearby, and there are routes through Blackwood Forest, Winnall Moors and the Ox Drove track. Alresford itself, three miles away, is a Georgian market town known for watercress farming, with a steam railway, shops, pubs and tea rooms. Cheriton has a village shop and two pubs. For other interests, Hinton Ampner (National Trust) is close by, and there are golf courses and fishing in the Meon Valley. One well-behaved pet is welcome. No smoking inside.
