Friendly hosts, modern room with comfortable bed. Generous tea & coffee tray with added items. Great breakfast choice and Full English. Ideally situated between Windermere and Bowness On Windermere, both in shortish walking distance.

It's the small things that mean the most.. On arrival we were greeted in person by the Guest House owner and shown to our room. She was extremely informative of the local area and everything we may need to know for our stay. Our room has everything we could possibly need - from tea / coffee station, to cotton buds and shower caps! The decor of the room is simply beautiful, and the spacial setting is comfortable. Adding breakfast is a must, it's delicious!

Myself and partner booked this last minute. Jayne greeted us when we got there and showed us to our room on the top floor which was immaculate. The room was a good size and the bathroom was very spaceful. As we got there very late in the evening she told use where was good to go and eat in Bowness. For breakfast I had a full English and my partner had poached egg with salmon which was very nice and we also had the option to have cereal, crossiants etc. Very good options. We meet Jaynes husband Paul and we had a really nice talk with the both of them. They told us what we could do and where was nice to sightsee. There was plenty of information about both Windermere and Bowness on hand. They even had a large selection off dvd that u could watch in your room. We had a lovely view of the mountains from our room and bathroom. It was beautiful. Overall the cottage was very clean, tidy and Jayne and Paul were great hosts. The location is great for both Windermere and Bowness as it is about 10/15 mins walk to both from the cottage. Thank you Jayne and Paul for making us feel so welcome. We will defo be coming back and staying with u again.
