What guests say
Called in here for lunch after travelling from the West Midlands and what a marvellous find. The place was spotlessly clean, staff very welcoming and the food was first class. My husband had a Royal Angus burger which was home made and the best burger ever, beautifully presented and I had haddock and chips which was lovely and freshly cooked. This restaurant certainly gets 5* from us.

Fantastic cottage hotel. Romantic. Would be great for events. Double and single rooms spacious and clean. In room fan, heater, iron, ironing board, and hairdryer. Fantastic selection of food bit more expensive but first class. Staff first class[A] so attentive nothing too much trouble. Off the main roads and fields at the back of hotel. Would definitely go again .

Meals out while staying in area We went to the Elm Tree Inn twice while on holiday in the area. The food was great - 3 veggie dishes on the menu - and the staff were friendly. I had spinach tortellini first time and cauliflower with chickpea curry the second. My husband had sausage and mash. It was tasty, well presented and well priced.

Had a fantastic meal here! Genuinely shocked at how good the food was. Every meal was cooked perfectly with great flavours and came out nice and hot. We had the camembert and chicken skewer starters and for mains the chicken teriyaki, seabass and lamb rogan josh. Couldn't fault a thing.
