Just tired, lack of attention from staff if you can find them, only 2 plus chef (by the way the food in the pub was very good) Rooms tired, and just feels like it needs a refresh. Check in took me 15 minutes of waiting at a vacant reception....not great after a 5hr drive. No air-conditioning in rooms. Premier inn are usually relaiable and good for what they provide, but this was a fallback from a fully booked IHG I use regularly...

I met some unbelievably excellent staff at the restaurant. Krishna, an excellent chef, welcoming, helpful, radiates such warmth and good attitude towards guests, and to his colleagues that he deserves praise, and thanks; he is indeed excellent in his actions, customer service skills, cooking, and his calm attitude. Then there are the most excellent ladies; hard working, customer focused, and with the right customer focused attitude: They are Rosie, Joe, Lisa, and Rina. These 5 people deserve to be rewarded, so should whoever recruited them. I was so impressed with my experience with them that I had to ask them for their names after meeting them. I'll definitely be back there whenever I'm in Woking. Thank you very much, Krishna, Rosie, Joe, Lisa, and Rina. Thank you Premier Inn Woking West for these your staff members, I wish that I could drop a few more stars!

Arrived late Saturday afternoon 27th J̌une We had 2 rms booked ( single and a double).Receptionist was very nice and helpful. Rooms where ok. Went down to the bar at 16:45 ,Red hot day,we needed a refreshing cool drink after a 5 half hour drive It was closed !!! Didn't open till 17:30. Very surprised as we where told the hotel was full that night and we where not the only customers after a drink. We upgraded for a meal package and had a table booked for 18:30. Went up stairs ( air conditioning, "relief" ) One member of waiting staff on,didn't take long for her to take the order.. We noticed with her was terrible BODY ODOUR,very of putting. Then when she served up the starters we noticed she had a soiled bandage on her left hand, now surely you should have some type of hygienic hand covering on to cover the bandage ( food handling and hygiene practice). Food was ok. Next morning Breakfast is a different story, up stairs again ,table booked for 09:30 ( NO tables). Waited 15 minutes , then got a booth opposite the hot plate. Waiting staff running around like headless chickens .We watched, wrong orders going to wrong tables or orders where wrong and brought back to the hot plate, Chefs where loosing it with the waiting staff ,(language at times was choice). No bread to make toast ,waited awhile, some arrived it was like toasted cardboard " terrible " We ordered 2 poached eggs each, all where over cooked and hard, I asked if these could be changed for soft poached, she said I'll try ? Not the answer we where wanted to hear. Not the breakfast experience we wanted. Restaurant needs some work doing to it decoration etc. Bar outside sitting area needs tidying up weeds and general up keep. Bright side hotel is in a good location .

I recently stayed at Premier Inn Woking and overall had a decent experience. The hotel itself is quite ok, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout the stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although the bedding could be improved — the nights weren’t as restful as they could have been. Breakfast was exactly what you’d expect from a Premier Inn: simple, classic, but good and satisfying. The restaurant was also enjoyable, largely thanks to the friendliness and effort of the staff. However, it did feel like they were understaffed, with employees constantly rushing from one task to another. They were clearly doing their best under the circumstances. All in all, a solid option with great staff, but a few areas could be improved to make the experience more comfortable.
