I’ve always enjoyed going to Cineworld, but my latest experience was honestly awful. When I arrived, I was told I couldn’t bring in my takeaway food — despite the fact that nowhere was this rule displayed, not on the doors, not at the tills, nowhere. To make it worse, when I finally did get into the screen, loads of people around me were eating their own KFCs and other hot food with no issue at all. So clearly the rule either isn’t enforced fairly, or the staff simply choose who to stop. Because we were forced to stand outside and eat quickly before going in, we ended up late to the film we’d paid full price for. The staff weren’t just unhelpful; they came across as rude and dismissive, repeating “no hot food” without explanation — despite the fact that Cineworld sells hot food themselves. It felt like they were pushing us to buy their overpriced snacks while letting others bring in whatever they wanted. Overall, the experience was frustrating, unfair, and completely avoidable. If Cineworld wants to enforce rules, they should display them clearly and apply them consistently — and maybe train staff to speak to customers respectfully. I won’t be rushing back anytime soon.

A variety of sized screens, bigger the better. Now they've also upgraded the foyer and have atleast two new screens. The Superscreen and 4DX screens, I've used both and are great. The seats in the Superscreen are annoying as they keep reclining which I find uncomfortable for me. Others might find theses seats great, not me. Other than that the seating is modern with red comfy leather, headrests and I'll mention the last time, stupid auto reclining.
