Diglis House Hotel

We had a lovely visit to Diglis House Hotel. The location is simply outstanding, with beautiful views over the river and, in my opinion, one of the best spots in Worcester. The beer garden is fantastic, and the addition of the outdoor bar and bar tables has created a really cosy and welcoming atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to relax with friends and enjoy the riverside setting. The food was very good and reasonably priced. We had the smashed burger and the fish and chips, and both meals were delicious and generously portioned. A great combination of stunning views, good food, and a wonderful atmosphere. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Worcester. 😊🍻🌿

Fantastic riverside location with extensive seating for dining following recent refurbishment. We dined in the restaurant which was very pleasant; great choice catering for all tastes. You can also dine alfresco, although outdoor dining specifically from the restaurant menu is a little limited seating wise. The show-stoppers the new outdoor pizza oven - a superb addition for the summer months with ample, relaxed seating al fresco. The hotels always had huge potential - as a local, I've been visiting for over 20 years, mostly for a drink and bite to eat following a walk along the river. Now my girls are adults themselves, it's certainly somewhere they'd also enjoy socializing with friends. It's a real gem given it's location and now it's been refurbished it'll unquestionably be in demand! If you're visiting Worcester, be sure to add it to your itinerary! (And although I've not had the pleasure of staying overnight, I would imagine if the service and decor in the bar and restaurant are anything to go by, it'll be money well spent!) Enjoy!

Diglis House is one of Worcester’s best spots when the weather is good. Sitting by the river on a sunny day, it’s hard to beat the atmosphere, and despite being busy there always seems to be plenty of seating available, although finding shade can be a bit more difficult on hotter days. The service was excellent. Our waitress was attentive, friendly and regularly checked in to make sure everyone was looked after without it feeling over the top. The food was very good. The chips in particular deserve a mention, and overall everything was enjoyable. It’s not the cheapest place, but being right on the riverfront in a location like this does naturally carry a bit of a premium, so it feels fair for what you get. One small improvement could be clearer menus near the entrance, or even QR codes for browsing food and drinks while waiting for a table. I didn’t stay overnight so can’t comment on the rooms, but for food, drinks and atmosphere, we’ve returned multiple times and will continue to do so. Easily one of Worcester’s best places to spend a hot summer day.

We had our wedding reception at Diglis House Hotel, and it was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious, and all of the staff were fantastic throughout the day. A special thank you to Meggie, who did an incredible job organising everything and making sure both we and our guests were well looked after. Everything was planned beautifully, and we had several meetings with the events team beforehand to discuss the food, timings, and every little detail, which made us feel completely at ease. The overnight stay was also lovely, in the bridal suite looking over the river. Even breakfast was delicious in the morning. Thank you again, Meggie, for all your hard work and for helping make our special day so perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!
