What visitors say
Nice location very pretty, small swimming pool so you have to pre book your swimming times, they also have a lovely jacuzzi and steam room is ok not much steam. The caravan was basic but that’s what we booked great value, clean family break with young kids. Also has fishing so those who want to and you can feed the deers the resort gives you the feed which is nice. Nice restaurant and kids play area on site

Well equipped modern caravan with modern full fan oven, 4 gas hobs, fridge and separate freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. Lovely peaceful location and lots to see around the site, such as deer and fishing lakes. The biggest bedroom is the double bed room with plenty of cupboards, the single beds are quite narrow but comfortable with very little storage, but adequate. Our family appreciated having the balcony to sit on and dry our towels. Lovely heated indoor pool and spa, with modern changing rooms.

This is my most honest opinion. I don't normally complain, however I was a little upset by a few things here which was a shame and would have been so easy for the park to rectify. As I am a fair person I will start with some great positives: Beautifully maintained landscaping Great little pub, nice garden Lovely play park Great views Caravan ok Dog friendly Clean bedding and caravan clean Late check in at bar Very spacious between caravans Lovely deer park Dog wash area Food in pub was lovely Not so positives: Pub shuts at 10pm or when it feels like it Our children booked to go swimming at 5 (as per the info in the caravan last swim is 5-6) They arrived to be told the pool shut at 5! No swimming for them. The shop was shut (notice on door telling customers they didn't know when it would be open again!) No electricity in van for over two hours. No problem as work needs doing, however we spoke to the workmen who told us they had notified reception. No courtesy notification. Red hot day and a stacked fridge full of food! When we asked what was happening we were informed by the unhelpful staff they didn't know when the electricity would be back on and that the manager was new and wouldn't be in until Saturday. We were only booked in until the Friday. Absolutely nobody was helpful and really sounded as though they didn't give a damn As I said, a real shame as it's a lovely place. Just more professionalism and some proper communication could have helped all of the above situations.

The start of the holiday was good. It is right in the middle of the country which is great. But you are not near any ammunities. On the sat night there was a fire at a nearby caravan. They turned of the electric. On talking to staff for an update. Nobody could give us any information. We handed over the keys and left and the staff asked if everything was okay. We said no and told them about the electric. The reaction was ok. Bye. No help was offered. An email has been sent to the park raising our concerns a week ago and we have had no response. I think they need to improve their customer service. It seems to be extremely poor.
