About Bromyard Downs Campsite
Tucked among tall, shade-giving trees just off the A44, Bromyard Downs Campsite offers a straightforward woodland escape within easy reach of both Bromyard and the Malvern Hills. The site's grassy and gravel pitches are surrounded by seasonal bluebells and meadow paths that lead directly onto butterfly-rich Bromyard Downs—a 25-minute stroll through ancient woodland. Four-legged friends (with some breed restrictions) are welcome to join you on these gentle trails, and it's a pleasant 40-minute walk to Bringsty Common, where a 16th-century thatched pub awaits with beams hung with hops.
Facilities are simple: portable loos, electric hook-ups, fresh water and Elsan disposal, but no showers, so come prepared. The peaceful, tree-shaded setting and easy woodland access make this a lovely spot for forest bathing and casual walks, though don't expect much in the way of on-site amenities. For those after unspoiled countryside and a genuine back-to-basics vibe, it's a quiet gem.

What visitors say
Great little site, we first came here when it was a part of CAMC, sadly it's not anymore but you can still book directly or via PitchUp. Lovely owners, easily accessible site, no shower block but as we've got a caravan we're self-sufficient so no problem there. They allow fire pits so we'll definitely be back in the autumn for some late night country romance.

What an absolutely beautiful campsite. One of the best we've stayed in. Charlotte is so lovely and helpful. Beautiful walks. Great pub about a mile away. Dog friendly. Lovely area. Thank you so much. We will be back and will recommend to everyone.

Just returned from our 9th visit to this lovely site. Previously a Caravan Club site but now under private ownership. The new owners are very friendly and accommodating It has everything we look for in a site. Dog friendly, lovely area, walks from site, places of interest to visit nearby. Two nearby pubs are well worth a visit and welcome dogs. Bromyard is just down the road, had great breakfast at Oakland’s Cafe & Deli Very pretty and well maintained site with mixture of hard standing and grass pitches. No toilets or showers at present. But we prefer to use our own facilities. Enjoyed our stay very much and will return

We recently stayed at Bromyard Downs Campsite and had a wonderful experience. Alan and Charlotte are fantastic hosts – incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything you need. They work hard to keep the site clean, well-maintained, and enjoyable for everyone. The campsite is set in a beautiful location with a peaceful atmosphere, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Nothing seemed too much trouble for Alan and Charlotte, and their genuine care for their guests really makes this site stand out. If you're looking for a friendly, well-run campsite with excellent hosts, I would highly recommend Bromyard Downs Campsite. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the future.
