Emailed to enquire about booking for my fifth wedding anniversary only to receive a curt reply saying "Please stop sending me emails". Why have an email address to book through if that's the response you give? Avoid at all costs!

We have a seasonal pitch here, after viewing a handful, this was by far the best site in terms of facilities, grounds, pitches and cost. Beautifully landscaped, a few small fishing ponds, spacious pitches with EHU and grey waste. Very clean toilet and shower block. Laundrette and information room. Pub on site which is currently open Friday and Saturday serving drinks only. Great atmosphere and very friendly. Ideally located on the border of Wales and Shropshire for visiting numerous towns and villages such as Ellesmere, Wrexham, Oswestry and Llangollen. Lots of other places to visit and some beautiful walks.

We have just got back from a 2 night stay in one of the dog friendly barn conversion holiday let's. I must say 10/10, it was absolutely beautiful, clean, comfortable and everything you need. Even a little basket with bread, jam and biscuits.

Spent a lovely 2 nights in one of the lodges and we couldn't fault it! Clean, comfortable with all the home comforts, including the most comfortable reclining sofas! There was a lovely hamper on arrival with all the essentials and a well equipped kitchen. The bed was comfy and the shower was out of this world! We will definitely be back!
