The Annexe

Couples after quiet countryside will find The Annexe suits them well. This single-storey cottage stands as a separate space adjoining the owner's home, giving you complete privacy while remaining in a rural setting near Malpas. The one double bedroom, bathroom and living space occupy the ground floor, with essentials like bed linen, towels and wifi included; there's also initial fuel for the wood burner so you can settle in straightaway.

The kitchen has an electric hob and oven, fridge and microwave—enough to cook proper meals if you want them. The living room centres on a traditional fireplace with wood burner, ideal for cooler evenings. Outside, a private back garden with courtyard and furniture offers a place to sit, and there's parking for two cars on site. Smoking is not permitted.

Malpas village itself has independent shops, pubs and historic buildings within walking distance. The Sandstone Trail runs through the area for longer walks, and the Shropshire Hills lie nearby if you want to venture further afield. Georges Plaice is close by for a quick meal.
