The Woodlands Farmhouse

The Woodlands Farmhouse is a six-bedroom property on a working farm in the Wrexham countryside, sleeping up to 12 guests. Everything is on a single level: the kitchen has two ovens, two fridge-freezers, a dishwasher, and laundry facilities, so catering for large groups is straightforward. Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom—one has a kingsize bed, four have doubles, and two have twin singles. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. One pet can stay free, though it should be kept on a lead as the property sits in sheep country.

Outside, there's an enclosed garden with patio and furniture, plus a private hot tub that seats six. The grounds are peaceful and genuinely rural—the farm itself means you're surrounded by working land rather than suburban houses. Parking is available for eight cars. No smoking inside. The property works well for extended families or groups marking an occasion, since everyone has their own sleeping and bathroom space but shares the main living areas and kitchen.

Walking and cycling routes run through the lanes nearby, ranging from short strolls to routes of several miles. The location puts you within reach of the Welsh borders, Shropshire and Cheshire for day trips, though the farmland itself is reason enough to stay put.
