Grange Garth Cottage

Naburn is a quiet riverside village just outside York, close enough for day trips into the city but far enough to feel properly removed. Grange Garth Cottage is a detached property on a private drive, recently renovated and set up for complete privacy. It sleeps 4 across 2 bedrooms, each with a king-size bed and its own en-suite shower room, making it well-suited to two couples or a family.

The ground floor is arranged around an open-plan living space that runs the length of the cottage, with patio doors opening onto a south-facing rear garden. The kitchen is fitted for proper cooking—electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave and the rest—with a breakfast bar for informal meals. The living area has a smart TV and comfortable seating; the garden has a patio, furniture and a barbecue. Underfloor heating runs throughout, wi-fi is included, and you'll have parking for two cars on site. One dog can stay free of charge. The cottage is adults only. No smoking inside.

Cycle paths and public transport connect you to York's centre in under five miles. The location works equally well as a base for exploring the city's attractions or as a retreat where you barely need to leave the garden.
