About Gilfach Holiday Village
Gilfach Holiday Village spreads across a coastal hillside just outside Aberaeron, where well-equipped chalets and apartments—some right on the seafront—deliver those sweeping Cardigan Bay views that make Ceredigion such a draw. The atmosphere is peaceful, families appreciate the play area and on-site bar, and the staff earn consistent praise for being genuinely helpful. With tennis courts, a games room, and takeaway on site, plus coastal paths threading out from the village gate, it's a spot that works whether you're touring the region or simply settling in for a few days by the sea. The facilities can feel a touch dated in places, but the location and outlook more than compensate—especially if you bag one of those seafront pitches.

What visitors say
We had a wonderful time at Gilfach Holiday Village. We stayed in a Silver Chalet, and the views were incredible, you get the best of both worlds with the rolling hills and the sea right in front of you. It was so peaceful watching the cows grazing just outside our window with the ocean in the background! The chalet itself was absolutely spotless and came fully equipped with everything we needed to cook our own meals. Having the children's play area was a fantastic addition for the kids, and having a bar on-site was a great bonus for the adults. A huge shoutout to the staff as well, who were incredibly nice and helpful throughout our stay. Just a quick tip for drivers: the country road leading up to the village is a lot of fun, but it's a tight single-lane road where only one car can pass at a time. Definitely keep your speed to a minimum and take it easy. We will definitely be back!

What a place. I booked a chalet. What i got was a dream hut. Right on the sea front. Sunset rights in front of you. The place was clean, perfect size for( 2 although I went alone). Quieter and scenic. I wil be booking again

Stayed for 8 nights in November just to relax and decompress. It was perfect. Beautiful view of the sea from the apartment. Very well appointed. Comfy and cosy. Excellent hideaway.
