About Aaran Central Guesthouse

Aberdeen's Crown Street sits close to the heart of the city, an easy stretch from shops, bars and restaurants, and it's here that Aaran Central Guesthouse makes its home. The location suits anyone wanting to explore the city centre on foot without paying city-centre prices, with the added bonus of nearby golf courses and watersports for those keen to get outdoors.

Rooms come with free WiFi as standard, and the guesthouse runs a 24 hour reception so arrival times are never a worry. It's a straightforward, no-frills base rather than a destination in itself, geared towards guests who want somewhere comfortable to return to after a day out.

Pubs, bars and eateries are all within easy reach, meaning there's little need to venture far for a meal or a drink in the evening. For visitors keen to combine city sightseeing with entertainment or a round of golf, the guesthouse's position on Crown Street offers a practical starting point for both.

Cheap, very noisy, clean, overall good for the price. The owner met us at the door, and was a very pleasant guy. The location is great, obviously. There was some error with the rooms, and so they called to ask if we were okay with being set up in a smaller room than we booked. A wee bit unprofessional, but no harm done. The place was really clean, the beds were comfortable, and the room had a sink, a microwave, and a fridge. The toilets were two floors down from our room, which sucked a bit, but they were nice and clean. One major problem, though: The walls are super thin. We were awoken throughout the night by loud thumping and speaking by the other guests, and not even earplugs helped. Honestly, I had a crappy night, but it was mostly due to other noisy guests, not the hotel, per se. Just be aware that it's a risk.

These hotels are sterile, no character, Just dead There to make a quick no nonsense buck. No banter from unseen property owners, keys in tiny safes, just dead places It was clean ,bed comfy although I slept just on top

It was a lovely place to stay. Very clean, great value for money with all facilities. Only one downside it's not sound proof which means noisy neighbours can be a nuisance. Also the doors make a loud noise when closing.
