About Ferryhill House Hotel

Ferryhill House Hotel suits visitors who want their stay built around good food and a decent pint rather than polished formality. It's a straightforward base on Bon Accord Street in Aberdeen, with free on-site parking making it practical for anyone arriving by car, and a setting close to Hazelhead Park & Pets Corner for those who fancy a walk during their stay.

Rooms are en-suite and come with comfortable beds and space to spread out, plus drinks available in room and daily housekeeping touches like laundry service. The restaurant and bar are the heart of the place, serving burgers, salads and fish and chips alongside a well-kept range of drinks, and there's a beer garden for warmer days. Breakfast is included, room service is on offer, and reception runs around the clock. Staff are consistently described as friendly, though service at busier times can be slow.

Beyond the hotel, the surrounding area offers golf, fishing and watersports nearby, along with plenty of pubs, restaurants and walking routes to explore. It works well as a relaxed stop for anyone wanting comfort and a good meal without needing everything to be fast-paced.

I have always enjoyed visiting the Ferryhill House Hotel. I'm local so I've not stayed over so can't really comment on the rooms. It's probably one of the best beer gardens in Aberdeen if it's a nice day, usually a great atmosphere and we always enjoy ourselves. Inside it's traditional meets modern in decoration, there are function rooms, restaurant and a good bar which also serves food. Would highly recommend, and the staff are also very helpful and friendly.

Attended for Saturday Spritz for an hen do. Our server was lovely and very accommodating in helping us with any questions. The room was decorated lovely for the event. Atmosphere was spot on, Prosecco and food went down a treat! Would definitely recommend and return again

We loved this hotel. We had a spacious room with a comfortable bed and a roomy desk, and an excellent bathroom/shower. Breakfast (which we opted to include) was very good. Everyone we encountered on staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. It's about a 15-minute walk from the train station, which was fine with us.
