Birchland - Cairn View

Birchland – Cairn View is a detached lodge built to take advantage of its elevated position among 8 acres of natural woodland. The property sits at ground level, with an open-plan living and dining space that opens directly onto a decked area through full-width doors – the better to look out towards Cairn O'Mount. A woodburner keeps things warm, and logs are supplied. The kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher and fridge freezer, so you can cook properly. The main bedroom has a king bed, TV and ensuite shower; the second bedroom is a double; the third a single. There is a second shower room and a separate utility with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. The decked area has garden furniture, and parking for 3 cars is on site. One well-behaved dog is welcome. The setting suits families wanting active holidays – fishing, cycling and pony trekking are all possible locally. Banchory, with shops and restaurants, is 5 miles away. Aberdeen is about 30 minutes' drive. Smoking is not permitted indoors.
