Birchland - Mountshade

Birchland - Mountshade is a detached lodge on the ground floor, positioned to capture views toward Cairn O'Mount across 8 acres of woodland. Everything unfolds on a single level: a spacious open-plan living area with a cathedral ceiling flows through to the dining space and into a fully equipped kitchen, then steps out onto decking overlooking the grounds. The living room has a woodburner (logs included), Freeview television and DVD player. The kitchen contains an electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Two bedrooms, each with a kingsize bed, sit at opposite ends of the property. The first has an ensuite shower room; the second opens to a separate shower room and also has a television. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are all included, and oil central heating keeps the place warm year-round. Two cars can park on site.

Banchory, with its shops and restaurants, is 5 miles away. The surrounding area works well for walking and cycling, and fishing is available on local rivers and lochs. Aberdeen is roughly 30 minutes by car. One dog is welcome. No smoking inside the property.
