Birchland - Park Lodge

Birchland Park Lodge is a detached holiday home set in 8 acres of natural woodland on elevated ground with views towards Cairn O'Mount. Everything is on the ground floor, accessed via a ramp to the entrance. Three bedrooms—a king, a double and a single—share two bathrooms (one ensuite to the main bedroom, one shower room serving the others). The open-plan living and kitchen area has a cathedral ceiling, and doors open to a decked area with garden furniture overlooking the grounds. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, with an electric cooker, dishwasher and microwave. There's a utility room with laundry facilities, and Wi-Fi throughout. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The property is yours alone—not shared with other holiday lets.

The location suits families, couples and small groups alike. Banchory is 5 miles away and has shops and restaurants. The broader area is known for Highland Games in summer, and there are walks on moorland and mountains, fishing, cycle trails and pony trekking nearby. Balmoral Castle opens to visitors in summer. Aberdeen is roughly 30 minutes' drive and offers theatres, shopping and gardens. The ski resorts at Lecht and Cairngorm are accessible from here. Parking is on site. No smoking is permitted in the lodge.
