The Stables

The Stables is a stone cottage converted from the old farm buildings at Cairnton Farm. It comes fully equipped: electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are all included, along with logs for the woodburner. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer, so you can cook properly rather than rely on takeaways. There's a hot tub for four in the garden, parking for two cars on site, and a bike store if you're bringing machines.

The layout spreads across two floors. Downstairs is an open-plan living and dining space with a woodburner, plus a ground-floor bedroom with an ensuite wet room—useful if anyone has mobility concerns. Upstairs are three further bedrooms. Two bathrooms in total. The property sleeps seven and takes one pet free of charge. French doors open onto a patio overlooking the countryside, and there are grounds with a shared BBQ area. The cottage sits in the courtyard of a working farm in rural Aberdeenshire, with good walking from the doorstep. The owners also run Deeside Activity Park a mile away, where guests have access to all facilities. No smoking inside.
