Lodging at Kenmore, near Taymouth Castle Gardens and a country estate golf course.
About Mains Of Taymouth Village
Mains Of Taymouth Village is a lodging site at Kenmore, set within the grounds of the Mains of Taymouth Country Estate. The landscape here centres on the estate's own 18-hole golf course, and Castle Gardens—home to the ruins of Taymouth Castle—is next door. You are on the edge of Perthshire's Tay valley, with the River Tay and woodland within easy reach.
The site has showers. The Taymouth Courtyard Shop is just across the way for essentials and supplies. Kenmore itself is a small village with a pub and a few other businesses. The golf course, gardens, and proximity to both the river and the wider Breadalbane landscape mean the setting suits anyone drawn to outdoor pursuits and historic grounds.

What visitors say
Had a pleasant stay with fantastic views. Clean premises with modern facilities. Good service from the staff and appeared to work well with children. The Spa was not open due to Covid-19 restrictions but there were several activities nearby. A place I will return to.

Great stop for walks along the river. The shop is great for foodies and take away teas. Also has toilets.
