What visitors say
A nice toilet and shower block consisting of six toilets with cold water sink and mirror. Two showers with regulated hot water and hose for patron to wash cubicle down when shower completed. These were kept clean. In addition three kitchen sinks for washing-up are also available with the same regulated hot water; a food waste bin was also provided there, but no rubbish bin there which is located at the entrance to the site. Alas some patrons didn’t follow that usage. The pitches on the electric field are space well apart. While I was visiting the non-electric field was much smaller, but I didn’t have an issue with the spacing. Large groups are not welcome, it’s family and couples oriented. The campsite is off a small country road and is amongst the farm fields, so peaceful views across the farm. The road can be heard in the distance, and some aeroplanes above too, but really nothing to be concerned about while we were there. The Blue Silo pub venue is next to it and accessible from the campsite.

Had a absolutely amazing weekend. A Wonderful site and where I was camped had a lovely view, the only thing I could really comment on is could do with a few more facilities and temperature control on the showers as with the heat this weekend would have liked a cooler shower.

It's a nice enough place, but a word of warning for the camping community. From what I picked up, this development was not expected to get the go ahead from the local council, with it being in AONB, & a tiny village. Local people have lost their peace & quiet and privacy as a result. I actually find it surprising, even as a camper, that local councils allow developments on this scale. I don't think I'll be returning for this reason, I hate to think that places like this are allowed to ruin local communities.

Really lovely campsite in a quiet, beautiful location. The toilets and showers are very good quality, and the pitches are a very reasonable size affording a decent amount of privacy. There is a micro pub on site which is a lovely touch, although there weren’t any local beers on tap which would be lovely to see in the future. Thoroughly recommend for a relaxing spot.
