Aydon is a perfect home away from home. For those who love chatting to the elderly, please book your stay with Aydon because the elderly hosts Arthur and Jane and their dog Bunny are very welcoming. I only met Arthur and Bunny, Arthur is full of humor, you certainly pick this up on arrival as he welcomes you to the property. I recommend others to stay at Aydon for a great experience at Alnwick and for comfort.

The hosts were really accommodating, the room was warm and cosy, location is fantastic (5 mins walk to Castle). They let us leave the car in their car park all day. Breakfast good. The location appeared incorrect on booking.com but is correct on Google. Alnwick is a good base for exploring Northumberland. Enjoy your stay, we did :)

Very clean; short walk in to town; and Alnwick castle in walking distance ,breakfast very good, couple very friendly happy to help nothing too much trouble: large car park back of property.shower in our bathroom but just next door bathroom if people prefer bath. Fresh milk in rooms every day in a small thermos flask, on landing little touches like shampoo, shower gel ,little bag with sewing kit, film cds. Would stay there again
