Good parking. The lady in the hut was very pleasant. Lovely walks down to the river. The church is interesting. Unfortunately the house is now a YHA hostel. There are toilets and a bookshop. The cafe is there - the lad in there was lovely - but, in my opinion, the NT cafes are going downhill. The coffee isn't good anymore and, at 2.00pm, they were down to their last slice of proper cake - which wasn't at its best!

Despite the bizarre weather—sun, showers, and even hail—this beautiful place was absolutely worth it! ☀️🌧️. The quaint cafe and expansive walks, branching off to other scenic spots, offer endless exploration. The ornate house, though not open for tours, adds to the charm. Remember your National Trust passes for free parking! I'm definitely visiting again to see more of this wonderful place. #Place #Weather #Cafe #Walks #House #Parking

I went Dovedale yesterday and then came here after. It was later in the evening the cafe was closed and there was less people about but park was great. I also got free parking since I am a National Trust Membership. Makes having a membership worth it otherwise parking would have cost me £6. It's a shame I wasn't here long to explore and I was tired since I went Dovedale but I would definitely would return here as it was beautiful.

what a gorgeous part of the country! a decent amount of parking available as well as toilets. all staff on site seemed so lovely. incredible place to walk around with such nice views and animals. we hadn’t really planned to come to ilam park today and was only aiming to use their ev chargers, but i’m so glad we ventured round! we’d definitely love to return
