Moorways Sports Village and Water Park

Excellent facility. My kids love it. Pool temperature is good, nice warm showers and plenty of cubicles for changing with family and disability friendly options. Nice cafe with viewing level looking down into both the water park and swimming pool areas. Free parking is up to 3 hours which is sufficient for me.

They’ve split the main pool into three so you can go lane swimming, swimming clubs and aqua classes. They also have public swim and family swim. There’s great views of the running track from the studio’s upstairs. They’ve also got some super-sized lockers in the changing rooms to fit everything in. All the staff have been really friendly. I even forgot to enter my car registration and remembered whilst I was swimming. I asked the lifeguard and she asked me to write my reg down and then keyed it in for me when she popped up. It’s a great sports village. Plenty of parking. Nice cafe. Friendly staff. And plenty of pool and studio classes all day

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Moorways Swimming Pool & Leisure Centre and can confidently say it deserves every one of its five stars. From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and professional. Despite it being a very busy day, they handled everything with calm efficiency and genuine warmth. Every member of the team we encountered was approachable, helpful, and clearly hardworking — it really makes a difference when you feel valued as a visitor. What stood out most was how clean and well-maintained the entire centre was. With the number of people coming in and out, it must be a never-ending task for the staff to keep on top of everything, yet they do an exceptional job. The changing rooms, poolside areas, and communal spaces were spotless and clearly checked regularly. It’s obvious there’s a huge amount of effort happening behind the scenes. Even during peak times, the team excelled at keeping the environment welcoming, organised, and hygienic. You could see staff constantly tidying, assisting customers, and ensuring everyone was safe and comfortable — all while maintaining a positive attitude. A brilliant facility run by an outstanding team. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and professionally managed leisure centre! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Whenever we have visited the pools have always been great - especially the children’s pool which is always clean and inviting. Never too busy either which means less chance of accidents and life guards are always watching everywhere which puts your mind at ease. Changing rooms are big, spacious and clean with bins being emptied regularly. Staff are really welcoming too and helpful the first time we visited they were more than happy to explain how everything works. Will definitely be returning!
