What visitors say
Spent the day and night staying in the hotel this time we visit every year. Stunning place .views.. hotel is lovely bar staff not so knowledgeable about whats On at night. However we had a lovely time. The rooms where lovely although very hot and small air-conditioned unit did not give off much. The bed was very uncomfortable hard as nails and the pillows where lacking in stuffing. Was very concerned about having to pay for a swim now we have been coming for years and we now bring our grandaughters with us.. however paying £8 pp for a quick swim is disheartening Spoken to a few parents but all say same thing to expensive with having 2 or 3 kids. So no swim this time. Not paying after paying for room. Bar prices are very high too. But the restaurant is great. Had a lovely meal and breakfast in the morning. Superb. Will still come back but maybe you should look at swimming prices .. Hunters key holiday village your sister site has no charge for swimming for guests..

We had a lovely stay in May for 4-nights as a family. We stayed in a 3-bedroom Harry Potter house which was really nice. Very clean, lots of space, comfortable sofas and beds. Lovely view from the decking and great that we had the garden out the front for the children to play on and the steam just opposite me the house for them to paddle in. We were in Eagle #3. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool and indoor kids area and the outside playground were all excellent for our 3 and 6 yr old. Beautiful walks from the park. We took a boat out on the loch and saw seals. Food in restaurant was very good.

The A shapes lodge was really nice but it would’ve been nice to have some shower gel and shampoo in the bathrooms. Our lodge was bunny themed. So they had a bunny soap dispenser but nothing in it. What the point? The experience at the park felt like all they cared about was to take money off you. They charged for the pool £20 and £3 for each towels. Staff knowledge was zero. They couldn’t tell me the opening times of the restaurant. Reception staff were only interesting in selling their services and were not interested and providing local information. The food on site was disappointing and very expensive. I wish I knew they don’t have a supermarket in Goil. They called the day before which was a nice surprise. They could have advised us that there is only a weeee shop there on site. Would I go back. No.

Very comfortable lodge at Drimsynie. Nice location although being close to water the midges came out at night. Plenty for children to do although the person at the swimming pool didn't seem to know there were concession and family tickets. Meals were a bit hit and miss, first night we had to send one meal back although it was taken off our bill. Last night the meals were disappointing. Service on both occasions was good. Takeaway was good with good helpings. Went for coffee and cakes at the Boatshed, wee bit expensive but nice coffee and cakes.
