On Craignish peninsula in mid-Argyll, Aird Steading forms the western end of a traditional farm steading. The cottage sits alone on open ground with unobstructed views east to Loch Craignish and west across the water to the islands—Jura, Scarba (with the Corryvreckan Whirlpool between them), Mull and Luing. Within walking distance are secluded bays where you might watch wildlife, listen to birdlife, fish, or simply sit with a sunset.
The entire property is yours: a single bedroom with a super kingsize bed and window seat, a bathroom with spa bath and shower, a kitchen with full cooking equipment, and a sitting room with woodburner and views towards Scarba and Mull. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and firewood are included. Parking for one car is on site, and there is an enclosed garden with seating. The cottage is all on one level. Check-in is after 17:00 and check-out before 09:30. Smoking is not permitted.
Ardfern village, two and a half miles away, has a pub, restaurant, café, shop and post office. Local activities include riding, sailing, canoeing and fishing; boat trips to the islands can be arranged nearby. The peninsula itself is quiet and little-built, making it suitable for couples wanting to step away from routines.
