Tulamain

Fifty yards from Loch Craignish, Tulamain was built in 2023 to make the most of its position. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame views across the water and out to the islands, and the open-plan living space sits at the heart of the design—a place to watch the light change while a wood-burning stove warms the room. The kitchen is fully fitted for cooking; the dining area overlooks the loch through large glass doors that open onto the garden with its picnic bench and covered sitting area.

The layout works well for mixed groups. One kingsize bedroom with an en-suite shower room is on the ground floor. Upstairs, two more bedrooms each have a zip-and-link bed (convertible to twin singles), and one has a pull-out single bed as well. The second bathroom has a bath with shower over. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and a reliable wifi connection are all included, along with wood for the burner. One dog stays free and must remain on a lead—the surrounding land is working sheep country. The Galley Of Lorne Inn is nearby for an evening out.
