We had a fantastic stay at the Shore Cottage. It was well equipped, clean and the location is absolutely stunning. I made a mistake with booking dates and Johanna was super helpful getting my booking sorted! This was our second stay on the Lunga estate and I'm sure we'll be back again!

The Lunga Estate I have known for 35 years. It is a place to which I return for relaxation and to tap into the beauty of Scotland’s West Coast in Argyll south of Oban. The cottages and chalets are comfortable and positioned to give one beautiful views privacy and an opportunity to relax walking fishing sailing reading listening to music; even swimming if you can tolerate very cold water. Good local restaurants and stunning Gardens to visit plus other attractions. Horse riding too

We stayed at Starfish Lodge for three weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. The lodge is perfectly located by the sea, with stunning views of the Inner Hebrides and the Corryvreckan Whirlpool. We saw sea otters hunting for fish and a variety of birds on our terrace every day. There are also ample opportunities for hiking and horseback riding. Highly recommended. Thank you, Johanna and staff, for the excellent service.

Location and accommodation were amazing. Ideal for what we wanted. Only small things could have improved it for us. Some throws or extra blankets would have been appreciated, my dog wouldn’t settle so I lay on the sofa for a bit but no blankets available to make it more comfy for me. Paying for electricity as an additional item was slightly stressful. Hard to know how much is needed and putting the water heater on for shower/bath uses it quickly. Bought additional £20 to ensure we had sufficient for our needs, but we still were frugal with hot water.
