Ardtornish Apartment
Argyll and Bute
Tayvallich sits on the Argyll coast where Loch Sween draws kayakers, wild swimmers and sailors. Ardtornish Apartment occupies the ground and first floors of a building with direct views across the water, and the loch's activity—boats, paddleboards, the gentle movement of the day—unfolds from the windows and balcony.
The layout gives you an open-plan living space with a kitchen and dining area flowing together, a double bedroom, and a shower room upstairs. Everything you need is provided: bed linen and towels, Wi-Fi, heating and electricity are all covered. There's parking for one car on site and a bike store. One dog can stay free. The apartment is non-smoking and does not take children under 18.
From here, lochside walking trails are immediate, and the village has a pub and seafood café. Further out lie Knapdale Forest (where beavers have been reintroduced to Scotland), the ruins and carved stones of Kilmory Chapel, and the Crinan Canal, a scenic cycle and walking route. Ferries run to Jura, Islay and Arran.
