Oban sits on the Argyll coast where the mainland meets a scatter of islands—Mull, Lismore, Kerrera—visible across the Sound. Argyll Mansions occupies the third floor of a sandstone Victorian building in the town centre, looking out over the bay. The apartment is yours alone, sleeping five across three bedrooms: a kingsize, two singles, and another single. One bathroom with bath and shower serves the property.

The living space includes a kitchen with an electric cooker, dishwasher and washing machine, a dining room, and a living room with a 40-inch TV and Freesat. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. Street parking is available outside, and there is free public parking nearby. A pub sits within a mile's walk. The Oban War & Peace Museum is also close by.

From here you can walk down to Ganavan beach, catch a ferry to explore Kerrera, Mull or the other islands, or simply stay in the town to browse the shops and eat at the restaurants around the harbour. No smoking in the apartment.

Beautiful location. Rooms and bedding 1st class. As was kitchen. We had 3rd floor , difficult for people with mobility problems. No lift .

Nice apartment and felt unique and lots of character. Squeaky wooden floorboards and doors throughout add something. Rooms were a little cold although electric radiators did the job

Argyll Mansions was very well located, in the centre of Oban, close to restaurants and pubs and represented very good value for money. The apartment was clean and well appointed. A bonus was great views of the harbour from the front windows (and McCaig’s Tower from the rear). My only significant comments are that the living room would benefit from a couple more easy chairs for groups of six, whilst an ice box in the fridge would have been appreciated.

I stayed in Argyll Mansions this summer with my wife and young child and could not suggest a better location or a more comfortable place to stay. All the decor was tastefully selected and all our needs catered for - from dishwasher, coffee machine to generous welcome gifts. My wife loved finding all the little surprises dotted around the place and my little one loved the ship themed bunk room. Then there was the sunset from the balcony...definitely a must stay!
