Charming Edwardian, family-run hotel just a 3-minute walk from Oban train station. I had a really good experience here — my room was clean, comfortable, and offered a lovely sea view. The shower was excellent too. For food, I’d recommend The Corryvreckan Wetherspoons nearby. It’s close, convenient, and makes dining simple after a day of exploring. Overall, a great stay in Oban and I’d happily return.

Pretty outdated amenities. They claim to have wifi hotspots in each room via the provided phones. None of them work. Left a nintendo switch in room on checkout and tried contacting them to have it mailed ahead just a day or so after. Airtag shows it was still there. The owner claims housekeeping didn't find it and it wasn't in the lost and found. So keep a close eye on your valuables and devices.

Great location, bad experience with the owner/manager! We booked three nights through Expedia. Due to the fact that there is no lift and our room was on the 4th floor, we decided not to stay more than one night (there was no way we could get our luggage up four flights of stairs). Anne, the very nice manager, said we could get a refund for the two cancelled nights IF Expedia would not charge commission. We both contacted Expedia and found that she would not be charged, so she said You're free to go, you will not be charged! But we were charged! I called and spoke with her husband, the other manager/owner, who refused to refund our money, even though Anne said we wouldn't be charged. All he could say was Anne is not here! I have emailed repeatedly and never get a response. I called again, spoke with Anne, who said she would look into it, but repeated emails and phone calls go unanswered. We ended up paying well over $600 for ONE NIGHT at a very mediocre hotel. BE CAREFUL!!!

Gives an oldie world first impression on walking in. However, all is clean & tidy. Rooms are well appointed, even down to the detail of most mains socket faceplates feature USB charging sockets, large screen smart tv and the room phone is wifi connected. Location is ideal for accessing the centre of Oban, being right on the seafront. There is no dedicated parking, but plenty of on-street or car park spaces are available. It is worth noting that the hotel climbs over several floors and there is no lift. Likely not and issue except for those with heavy bags or tired children
