You step straight into Ballygroggan Cottage's living space—a layout designed around comfort rather than corridors. The ground floor holds a lounge with a woodburner, dining room, kitchen, and a bedroom with a superking bed and ensuite shower room. Upstairs, a second bedroom with twin single beds sits in the roof space. The cottage sleeps four and comes with heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi included. One dog or cat can come free of charge.
The kitchen is functional rather than showy—oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer let you cook properly if you want to. The lounge's wood stove keeps things warm on cooler evenings. There's parking for one vehicle on site and a shed for storing bikes and gear. Access is via a well-maintained farm track rather than a main road.
The cottage sits on farmland above Machrihanish, where sheep graze nearby and views reach toward the coast. Machrihanish itself is a short distance away—a village known for its beach, golf course and walking routes. Campbeltown lies further south. The Old Clubhouse Pub & Restaurant is close by for eating out. Smoking is not permitted inside.
