Clamshell Lodge

Step into Clamshell Lodge and you're met with an open-plan living space on the ground floor, glass doors framing the water beyond. The living area has a woodburner and Freeview TV; the kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker, dishwasher and washing machine. A dining area seats four. Two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with singles—share a walk-in shower room. The whole property is yours alone, with parking for two cars and an enclosed garden with sitting-out area and furniture. A loch lies 50 yards from the house.

The lodge sits on the shore of Loch Fyne near Otter Ferry, where you can watch tides and seabirds from the decking. Bed linen, towels, heating and wi-fi are included; logs for the wood burner are provided to start with. A travel cot and highchair are available on request. The area offers walking, hiking, cycling, fishing and sailing. One well-behaved dog can come with you. No smoking inside.
