Musselshell Lodge

Argyll and Bute's coastline draws visitors seeking quieter stretches of water and wild Scottish scenery. Musselshell Lodge sits on the Ballimore Estate close to Otter Ferry, where Loch Fyne's tidal movements and sea birds define the rhythm of days. The property gives six people their own ground-floor space entirely, with parking for two cars and a garden opening directly onto the beach fifty metres away.

The layout centres on an open-plan living and dining area with a woodburner and smart TV, leading to a kitchen equipped for proper cooking: electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and microwave. Bedroom one is a double with an ensuite shower; bedroom two a double; bedroom three has two singles. A family bathroom with bath and shower serves the latter two. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and electricity are included, along with initial logs for the stove. One well-behaved dog is welcome.

This is a place for beachcombing, long walks and watching the loch from the dining table. No smoking inside the lodge.
