Kames sits on the Cowal Peninsula, where farmland meets the Firth of Clyde. Craignethan is a single-storey detached house on the edge of this quiet village, a mile from the coast. One dog is welcome to stay at no extra charge, and the whole place is yours alone.
Ground floor means no stairs: a living room with a wood-burning stove opens to a front terrace; the kitchen has an electric oven, hob, dishwasher and washing machine; one bedroom has a double bed, the other two singles; the shower room has a walk-in enclosure. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are provided, and there are initial logs for the stove. The front and rear gardens both have sitting areas and furniture, plus a boules court in front. Parking is on the road outside.
The Peninsula offers walks, fishing and scattered attractions, or you can stay put and take in the pace of village life. Smoking is not permitted inside.
