Kiloran

Step into Kiloran's ground-floor living room and the first thing you notice is the view. The patio doors frame the islands—Kerrera, Lismore, Mull—across water and sky. It's a cottage built around that outlook, with large windows bringing the landscape into every room. The open-plan living and dining space flows directly onto a patio and garden; you can eat breakfast watching the sea or settle into the evening light without moving far.

Upstairs in terms of function if not geography, there's a fully fitted kitchen for proper cooking, utility room with washing machine and dryer, and three bedrooms across the property. The master has a kingsize bed and ensuite; the second is a double; the third has two singles. A family bathroom serves the other two rooms. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included, and one dog stays free. The cottage takes six people comfortably, with private parking for two cars on site.

Oban is within walking or short driving distance, with its restaurants, ferries to the islands, and access to the Argyll coastline for hiking and cycling. The setting is quiet, but not remote. No smoking inside.
