I had such a wonderful welcome and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming. From the moment I arrived, I felt less like a guest. Her kindness and hospitality made my stay truly special. The room and the entire accommodation were spotless, and very comfortable. Everything was beautifully maintained and I immediately felt at home. Breakfast was prepared with much care and love, and you could really tell that every detail mattered. I am so happy that I chose to stay here and would recommend it to anyone without hesitation.

Highly recommend. This is the kind of place where you feel more like family than a guest. Morvan, the host, has been running this bed and breakfast for decades, and it shows in every detail. Staying here feels less like lodging and more like being welcomed by a thoughtful relative. We arrived late on our first night with only TV dinners after the local restaurant had closed. Without hesitation, she set the table and helped us get settled so we could cook and eat at 10 p.m. The next morning, she prepared a generous breakfast with yogurt, cereal, and hot dishes, then took the time to ask about our plans and recommend local spots—including the Green Shed seafood shack on the pier, which is absolutely worth a visit. At one point, we had washed clothes in the sink and left them out to dry, assuming they’d need another day. When we returned, everything was dry—she had quietly taken care of it for us. It’s rare to find this level of care and attentiveness. We’ll remember this stay for a long time and can’t recommend it enough.

I had a wonderful stay at this guest house. The welcome was incredibly warm and friendly, I felt comfortable from the moment I arrived. The room was very nice, very comfortable, and clean. The bed and bedding were excellent — I slept really well. The breakfast was also very nice, with everything I needed to start the day perfectly. The location is ideal as well, very close to the city centre and convenient for visiting the area around I felt a little bit like home during my stay. I definitely recommend this place and would happily come back again.

An actually affordable place to stay in Oban. Very handy for Tesco and the services nearby. I was met at the door even at 23:00 and the room was very clean and the bed comfy. Somebody was snoring very loudly and it’s right on the road so something to be aware of if you’re noise sensitive. Dog friendly and there’s a footpath a minute away near the high school for toilet time.
