Lunga Estate Lodges - Teasel Lodge
Argyll and Bute

Teasel Lodge is a single-storey timber-built property set among trees on high ground above the Firth of Lorn, in the small community of Lunga between Oban and Lochgilphead. The location is genuinely quiet—no road noise, just woodland and birdsong—yet the water is within walking distance and the inner islands are visible across the water. The grounds are shared with other properties on the estate, though you have sole use of the lodge itself.
Everything happens on one level. The open-plan living and dining space has a wood-burning stove and French doors onto a large deck with outdoor furniture; the kitchen is equipped for self-catering. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms serve the whole party: the first bedroom is a double with its own shower room, the second offers a zip-and-link kingsize (or twin beds on request), and the third has two single beds. Bed linen and towels are provided. Gas heating and electricity are included in the tariff.
A pub is within a mile. The peninsula and the Firth are natural territory for walking, kayaking and exploring by boat; Oban and Lochgilphead are the nearest towns for supplies and attractions. One dog is welcome. There are steps in the grounds, and the water supply comes from a spring.
