Nursery Cottage Benmore

Nursery Cottage is a traditional cottage built into woodland at Benmore, in the heart of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. The building sits on an acre of mature grounds with pathways threading through the trees, a sitting area in the rear garden, and a summerhouse for shelter. One dog stays free. Everything is on the ground floor: two bedrooms (one kingsize, one with twin singles), a bathroom with bath and shower, and a combined kitchen and dining space that opens to a living room warmed by a woodburner.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, and fridge-freezer for self-catering. A washer-dryer is provided. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included in the price, and the initial fuel for the woodburner is covered too. The cottage suits families or couples looking for a quiet base; Benmore Botanic Garden is close by, and the surrounding countryside offers walking straight from the door. A pond in the garden means children need supervision outdoors. Two cars can be parked on site, and smoking is not permitted.
