Rose Cottage

Loch Lomond National Park offers year-round activities within easy reach of Rose Cottage. Water sports dominate summer—sailing and water-skiing on the loch itself, or canoeing on the Teith and Balvaig rivers. The lake and surrounding hills attract anglers to salmon-rich stretches, while several golf courses sit a short drive away. Birdwatchers find redstarts, pied flycatchers and wood warblers in the oak woods, with ospreys visiting in summer, and golden eagles soaring over Breadalbane's high ground. Fallow deer roam the woodland, and if you're fortunate, you might spot seals or porpoises on the water.

Rose Cottage is a single-storey conversion adjoining the owner's farmhouse, sleeping four in two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The property combines period and contemporary furnishings, with a hot tub on the external sun deck—the main reason to book here if relaxation matters as much as exploration. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and electricity are included in the rental. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The cottage is non-smoking, and check-in is after 3pm, checkout before 10am.
