Stoneymollan Luxury Pods

We are just back from 1 night away in this beautiful, cosy accommodation. Gillian and Brian are the most welcoming and friendly hosts and their lodges are just perfect for a get away to de-compress and just be!! We were welcomed by Bunny the dog on the driveway and then greeted by Gillian who showed us around and offered great advice for walks, days out that were close by. We settled in quickly and loved the wood fired hot tub. The lodge is perfectly set up with everything you could possibly need with beautiful views and walks around. Gillian kindly brought a lovely breakfast to us in the morning - croissants, breakfast roll and delicious fruit smoothies! The setting is absolutely beautiful! We can't recommend Stoneymollan enough - Gillian and Brian's hospitality is just the cherry on top of an already fantastic experience. We felt very welcome and enjoyed chatting with the hosts on a couple of occasions while we were there. We can't wait to return! 😍

What can I saw about Stoneymollan… I don’t think there are enough words to describe just how beautiful it is. I was greeted with warm smiles on arrival 😊 The setting is stunning, with beautiful views over Loch Lomond. The pod is the perfect size - warm, cozy, very comfortable and had everything I needed for the perfect stay. There’s a fridge, microwave, hob, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. There were lovely supplies in the room - tea cakes, crisps, tea and coffee, and fruit and drinks in the fridge, as well as toiletries, which we perfectly presented in a little gift box. These were really beautiful gestures. The hosts kindly lit the wood-fired sauna for me on my first night. Sitting in there at 11pm, with no lights on except for the brightness of the fire, the twinkling lights of the town below and the stars in the sky was a beautiful experience. The hosts also kindly lit the wood-fired hot tub for me on the last night and that was another incredible experience! Sitting under the stars in the fresh air, taking in the beautiful views. Given it was late December, it wasn’t too cold. Walking from the pod to the sauna and the hot tub in my dressing gown and flip flops was actually very lovely. There’s a torch on the pod keys and keyring, which is helpful when walking from the pod to the sauna and hot-tub. And Bunny the dog is so beautiful - she’s very friendly and loves cuddles 🥰 I did a couple of beautiful walks - there’s so much history in the surrounding land and Scotland in general. Stoneymollan is an unbelievably special place, the hosts - Brian & Gillian - are amazing. It was an experience and trip I’ll never forget. Thank you both so much xxx

Absolutely beautiful set up and the best hosts! This is a small family run business. There is a hot tub, sauna and cold water barrel. The family could not be more helpful and welcoming. Highly rated this place and will definitely be back!

Had a overnight in one of the pods and it was amazing I would highly recommend these luxury pods and Gillian and brian are so welcoming and friendly will definitely be going back very soon and the sauna is out of this world with amazing views Phil and Jen
