Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park encompasses some of Scotland's most varied terrain: lochs and glens, forest and moorland, peaks accessible to serious walkers and gentler paths through woodland. Stonefield Farm Cottage sits in Glen Massan, deep in this landscape, on a working farm with the quietness that comes with being genuinely rural. The cottage itself is a three-bedroom property sleeping four, with a bathroom on the first floor and a separate toilet downstairs. One pet stays free, and there is parking for three cars on site.
The ground floor holds a living room with a 40-inch TV and DVD collection, and a kitchen with electric oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer for cooking proper meals. Upstairs are two single beds and a double bed. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included. Outside there is a garden with seating and a barbecue. The cottage draws water from a spring on the property; there is an unfenced river 77 yards away. No smoking indoors.
This is a base for walking, fishing, wildlife watching, or simply sitting in the landscape. The nearest town is Argyll, though the glen itself is the draw—open country, mixed woodland, and the quiet that comes with distance from anywhere built up.

It is an absolutely stunning, idyllic location to stay. Surrounded by hills, woodland, and birdsong. The unforgettable sight and scent of millions of bluebells along the hillside as we drove toward the cottage was breathtaking. Ideally placed to walk many of the Argyll forest walks (we did five) and for visiting the magnificent Benmore Botanical Gardens. Just a few miles from Dunoon, the cottage was perfect for discovering the area.

Beautiful location on a working farm, two double bedrooms and one single downstairs, lovely windows with seats to look down the lane at the views, huge kitchen, sofas not great, we spent alot of time travelling around, bad weather caused terrible flooding, Thea was great and advised us to leave due to river flooding the lane, very friendly, dogs loved it but no enclosed garden, but great walks all around, lane is so quiet so could run along the river, amazing wildlife all around, co op and Morriston near by, would visit again, thankyou. The pictures on Hoseasons do not do this property justice. The location is incredibly idyllic! The kitchen was so cosy and is definitely the hub of the house. I just love the modern staircase leading to the bedrooms. It's so wonderful not to hear traffic and be away from the hussle and bussle of every day life. If you want remote and rural with stunning scenery all around then this is the place for you. We actually liked not having Internet. Makes you appreciate the simple things in life. Owner was lovely and kind. Thank you. Louise and Gareth from Lincolshire.
